YOU NEED A DISCONNECT TOOL TO RELEASE THE LINE FROM THE FITTING, THE ORING IS REPLACEABLE BUT IT IS PAIN TO GET OUT OF THE FITTING. NAPA SELLS THE REPLACEMENT FITTINGS THAT ALREADY HAVE THE NEW ORINGS INSTALLED. THEY DONT COST TOO MUCH

Sounds like a blend door actuator failure,Might as well replace both sides

Check the fuses under the drivers side dash panel. Remove and replace any that are burnt or bad. that may solve your problem.

fit a new unit, The part that has snapped is probably a tiny leg of plastic that is irreplaceable and not repaireable.

under car pass side just behind tire on firewall looking for tube that makes 90 degree bend make sure not clogged if still leaking check for cracks in the evap case

check fuses and relays first. It may be a defective contol switch

depends if you want to replace just the glass or the whole assb.If its the holw assb. you have to remove the door panel and switches and then disconnect connector to mirror and take off 3nuts to mirror and should come out..I can do it for $50 the dealer will charge you $150 to do it..just let me know [email protected]

if it isn't a chevy part, then what kind of part is it?? I don't understand why they would say that. if it is in your truck then it should be a chevy part. If the vehicle was sold to you with these parts in and the whole truck was part of the warranty then it shouldn't matter. do you have aftermarket waranty or factory warranty. I think if the parts were in the truck when it was sold to you, and it had a warranty then all the parts listed in the warranty should be covered. (unless they are an add on piece) eg remote starter, stereo, speakers etc, things that would have been fitted after the purchase.

I would bet it's a mirror-image (sorry...) of the driver's side installation. If you already have the mirror it is probably as simple as replacing the existing outside cover with the mirror. If you're not sure you can do this on your own ask a mechanically-minded friend for help.
