Where can i find the diagnostic computer terminal in a 95 ford escort wagon

At the starter motor, two voltage circuits, one comes from the battery, hot all the time. The other voltage circuit goes hot with the key in the crank position and is wired through the neutral switch. The ground for the starter motor is through engine block, grounds are important.

how do you know this unless you have the transmission out or there is a massive internal failure --unless you are not using the right terminology for gear shaft

connector may be loose at the temperature sensor. connector should be snug on the sensor. If necessary, bend the terminals carefully to make firm contact. If this does not solve the problem, you may want to replace the sensor. Please let me know if you have questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

u may need to have ur computer reset, u dont say if u have any warning lights on the dash. other fuelling system sensors tie in with the air flow sensors. plug ur diagnostic port in at a garage and see what fault code reads.

The waring chime is located above the fuse box under the dash, open door with the keys in the ignition, let it chime and follow the sound, it will make it easier to find, then unplug it. Hope this helps.

Check the horn relay

Horn relay located above the interior fuse junction panel. Hope this helps. Also check the ground wire to horn, if in doubt run a wire from horn base to some other ground.

I'm not sure what year or model your ford is, it says ford ka...You could try removing both battery terminals for like 20 minutes, this should reset the computer, reconnect the POS terminal first, then the NEG. If this is for resetting the check engine light (effectively turning it off), if there is an ongoing issue with the car, the light will come back on after a few cycles of turning the car on and off. If you car is 95 or older, the battery thing should work, if its a 96 or newer, then you probably have an OBD2 port on the lowerside of the dashboard in the interior of the car, OBD2 is "on board diagnostics" and you can plug in a code reader to the OBD2 port and pull the code from the cars computer and see what exactly is wrong with the car. Try pulling the steering wheel hard to the left and right as you try to start the car.

You need a special tool that slides over the inner tie rod after removing the outer ones.make sure you count the turns to remove the outer tie rods so the alignment will be close. You will need to have it aligned after the repair.
