You could have a brake hose that has a piece of rubber making a flapper valve that causes brakes to stay on.or the proportioning valve has gone bad on you. if the brakes were notmush before you changed the hydralic stuff then perhaps bleeding was done incorrectly. just open one bleeder at a time and let it drip a few minutes then go to the next. make sure mast. cyl. doesnt go dry

William, did you use the correct bolt(length), did you check all brackets, sliders, seized caliper, pads for damage, free movement, etc.
Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

How do I fix my mazda tribute front brakes

It's either brake fluid hose or caliper itself, see if caliper piston is easy to push back in, if yes, replace the hose, if not replace the caliper,

Front passenger wheel is locking up...changed brake pads n bled the lines...what could cause this

Sounds like you have a bad caliper. Pull off the wheel that sticks and pull off the caliper to see if it is sticking, if so replace it

What causes the caliper on the front brakes of a 1996 dodge ram 1500 to stay closed? Just did the brakes less then 6 months ago by a mechanic.

Its a faulty brake caliper.Usally the caliper is old and rusty and corroded and sometimes it could be manufacture defect.

I have a 1999 lincoln continental and the front passenger side brake locks when driven for a while.

I just got a 1999 lincoln myself. And the front brakes locked up on it. Try to take off and it spit and sputter's. And floats around when try to stop. I replaced both brake calipers, pads, and one of the rotars. It had grooves wore in it. And changed the rubber hose going to the caliper. That is what the problem actually was. I noticed that the other side had already been changed beforre. But I wasn't sure. The caliper was rusted up where it got hot from rubbing. And it is posible for them to stick. Autozone $38 ea for calipers rebuilt. 40 for the pads. 20 for the rotar. And 35 for the hose. Now it drives like a dream.

The brake caliper on my 2000 Yukon keep locking up.

I would chg. the break hose, the one from the caliper to the hard line. Break fluid runs to caliper and back thru same hose, fluid is not running back hense caliper stays compressed or locked.

Changing front brake pads on a 2004 Ford Explorer Sport Trac

I'm guessing you have disc brakes in the front of the Explorer. If so, you need to unscrew the two bolts that hold the caliper on.(they'll be either hex or allen bolts) If the caliper does not slide off, take a C=clanp and slowly back the piston down on the caliper. This should free up the caliper so that it can be removed. Make sure you grease the slider pins for the caliper when you reassenble.

Pull to the left, Brakes

Sounds like it was pulling before the brake job...if so the only thing you didn't replace was the rotors, I assume you turned them? and did you see hard spots on the rotor? discolored area that didn't cut the same......switch the rotors left to right and see if the problem moves or just replace them if they've been cut twice.
