I am trying to fix the horn on my 95 Eldorado but none of the fuses are labeled as the horn so I don't even know where to start. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I suggest check the LH Maxi Fuses (Seats/Horn), also can find it in your 1995 Cadillac Eldorado - Owners Manual (page 325).

The fuse block is located in the glove box behind an access panel on Eldorado and Seville. There are 2 fuse blocks on 1992-98 Eldorado and Seville, one located in the left-hand side of the engine compartment, on the wheelwell and the other is located on the side of the trunk. To determine if a fuse is blown, remove it from the fuse block and examine the fuse element for a break. If the element is broken, replace the fuse with one of equal current rating.

You will need to test for power on 2 terminals, ground when the horn pad is pushed and if you jumper power to the horn wire the horn should play. What doesn't work will determine what needs to be fixed. There are bulletins that deal with the air bag in the steering wheel as being a problem so if you don't get a ground when the horn pad is pushed then I would suggest taking it to the shop and have someone repair that part of it because serious injury can result if propper steps aren't taken to disable the SIR system before disassembly. Also some special tools might be needed depending upon how deep into the column you need to go.

My horn isn't working quite right. It only blows if you push the button in a certain place and that certain place moves around all the time. But even when it does blow, it stutters. I don't think...

if it was a fuse problem the horn wouldn`t make a noise.it sounds like the horn contacts that touch when you push on the button are not making proper contact each time.if you remove the horn button and look at the contact spots you may see the problem(uneven contact surfaces).if you move/bend the contact surfaces closer to each other of straighten this may help the problem.you may even have a horn that needs to be replaced as you said when it does work it stutters and not blow.the diaphragm in the horn can dry out and not vibrate like it should.try tapping on the horn when someone tries to blow the horn if it stops or gets louder then the diaphragm is no good.you could also check the connection at the horn itself it may have a bad connection due to corrosion and just need cleaning.

Fuse panel diagram for a 1995 jeep cherokee 4.0 engine. I have spent a lot of time on phone calls and no one can help me. please help... I am trying to locate the horn fuse so my 16 year old son feels...

Don't have a diagraqm for that but I'm sending you a complete diagram for a 93 which is fairly similar:
http://www.scribd.com/doc/18999822/Jeep-Wiring-2 One thing... even without a diagram it's easy to find out if a fuse is blown by using a test light. Probe both ends of every fuse. if they are all good then regardless of what they serve, you know your problem isn't a fuse. Can't remember if 95's had an airbag, but if it does and the airbag light is also on, chances are that the horn problem is being caused by the "clockspring" inside the column. You also can test a horn by beginning at the horn. Use a jumper wore attached to the positive side of the battery and touch it to the horn terminal. If it blows then the problem is up-stream of the horn, possibly the relay or the contact assembly in the column.(clockspring is part of that, or it has a normal button and contact plate). If you don't find the problem or it's too difficult to repair, you do have the option of installing a push button on the dash wired to the battery and horn.
As for your son feeling secure....remind him that a good driver rarely uses the horn as in doing that precious time is wasted that should be used for steering, braking and decision making when in a dangerous situation. You do need a working horn to pass inspection though!

I cant start my cadillac eldorado 95 it says starter dusabled due to theft system how do I fix this problem?

Go around the car to the passenger side, and insert the rounded door key in the door, then lock and then unlock the door with the key. This should disable the anti-theft system. This also will shut off the horn blowing when the alarm is tripped. This works on all older Cadlillacs. Hope this helps.

Horn and power seats quit working. maxi-fuse extremely hot. pulled it out and re-inserted after it cooled down. fixed the problem temporarily (a day or so). swapped that maxi-fuse with the one above it...

which maxi fuse gets hot ? # fuse , plus amps The power seats uses a 30 amp circuit breaker ,not a fuse . The horn gets power from the same circuit breaker . . Sounds like something is drawing to much current. Do you know how to use a amp meter to test current flow . Disconnect componets till draw goes away ? How to use a wiring diagram to pin point areas in a circuit to test ?
Is there corrosion on the pins where the seat circuit breaker plugs into ? Reach under your seats an see if one of the seat motors is hot .

The left and the right power seat system consist of the following components:
• The seat switches
• The seat relay modules
• The 4 reversible motors:
- The front vertical motor
- The rear vertical motor
- The horizontal motor
- The recline motor
These 4 motors operate independently of each other.
When the entire seat switch is pushed to the FORWARD position, the forward input of the of the seat relay is grounded.
The seat relay module supplies battery positive voltage (B+) with a ground to the horizontal motor, in response to this input. In order to drive the seat forward, the motor runs until the switch is released.
The BACK position works similar to the FORWARD position with the exception that the voltage polarity supplied by the seat relay module is reversed causing the motor to run in the opposite direction. This action drives the seat backward.
These recline switches operate similar but independently:

The seat relay module could be bad , If you don't know how to do automotive electrical circuit testing it mite be a good idea for you to take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop.
Could have diagnostic trouble codes stored as well .

Fuse panel

The easiest Way to find this Fuse is to Get a Flashlight and Hold it Behind or Under the Fuses in the Panel to see if they are Blown. It is there.
