1995 Tacoma: I have a 1995 Tacoma V6 3.4L. The check engine li...

I have a 1995 Tacoma V6 3.4L. The check engine light is on and it is running hot after 10 minutes. Water and/or coolant is on the ground under the lh side of the radiator. Doesnt appear to be losing coolant from the radiator cap and there is fluid in the coolant overfill. Engine shuts off and wont restart until it cools. I have not pulled the codes yet but there does not appear to be coolant in the oil. Water pump or thermostat?

Based on what you've written, I'd say you've got a bad radiator. Fix the leak and then see if it still overheats

Hot air only, no fresh air or ac air. no engine overheating.

Your hot air keeps coming since the louver get stuck due to mechanism failure inside the ducting console. It usually is controlled by temperature setting. When the setting has no effect then the engagement is loose. Nee to open the dash vent to check out.

If the car still runs then the problem is not major but may develop into one if unchecked. The sensors in the engine may have detected problems and should be stored in its ECU. If you have a scanner have it connected to the diagnostics it should give you a clue on what to check out.

The check engine light came on, and now stays on, in my 03 tacoma, the truck seems to run fine, no hesitation or roughness noticed. Any ideas where or what to look for?

autozone has a fre check they they can run on your car. They will givbe you a code, that code will then tell us what is throwing that check engine light.

1995 Toyota V6 Battery light on instrument cluster stays on

The battery light comes on if the battery voltage is too low. Check you battery voltage. It should be above 12V with the engine running. If not, the alternator is not working. Next, check if there is power on the FIELD terminal of the alternator. Again, you should have 12+V. Check if the Alternator fuse is blown.

Check for fuel pressure when starting. Fuel pumps have a check valve in them that keep fuel in the rail at the injectors. If the check valve fails, the pump has to pump fuel all of the way up to the engine. Same thing with hot no-restarts. Fuel pump.
