Question about 2004 Ford F250
2004 f250 powerstroke console with compass temp does not work. Where is the fuse?
Posted by Anonymous on
This is a very common problem with many of the mid 2000 Ford truck and SUV overhead consoles. The console is very prone to internal failure. If the dome lights work but the compass unit does not then it is a faulty computer unit. I offer a reasonable repair service with a lifetime guarantee, check it out: www.autoclockrepair.com
There is a bunch of useful info there. Drop me an email if you have questions, thanks!

Sorry to hear your compass and ambient temp display isn't working.
Unfortunately, this is a common issue with vehicles using this type of display. It probably isn't a fuse.
My company repairs these in a manner that precludes the problem from happening again (we use new components, and a heatsink to prevent debonding). Repair includes a one year warranty on our work!
