Automatic transmission fluid is added at the dipstick tube. Remove dipstick from tube, wipe and reinsert while engine hot and running at idle, park or nutral ok. Add 1/4 quart at a time in same tube untill fluid level is at full mark. Do not mistake engine oil dip stick for transmission stick.

it uses dextron but i dont think this model has a spot to add fluid.

it is complicated. the red cap on the top is where you add fluid - but - there is a way to fill it without overfilling. it must be running, the plug underneath must be removed, and once it runs out of the hole as you add the fluid on top, it is full. Replace the plug, and it is done.
The plug is on the case - 2 inches above the bottom pan edge, just in the front of where the axle goes in on the passenger side

Approximatly 7quarts, but if you are having problems checking the fluid, you must run the vehicle in park and remove a small plug on the end of the transaxle just above the pan and fill until fluid starts to flow out of the plug

Check transmission fluid level. Sounds like your fluid is really low. If you have a lot of K the tranny oil and filter should be changed.
