You didn't state why you might do either one. If the car is overheating there are many things that can do it including but not limited to the raditor, dirty , therostae stuck closed ( heats up quickly and the raditor doesn't get hot) fan not working right,( raditor very hot and fan not blowing very hot) Water pumps leak more oven than any other failure the blades coming off does happen but rearly. The fan not blowing good and the raditor too dirtly as the air has to go though the outside and the water needs to go though all of the inside ( partly stopped up is connon. Many raditors don't flushout well if they get to the point that they don't coolwell and replacing them is a better solution washing out the rest fo the system as your work goes by..
If water pump leaking replace both, if not and truck is over heating start with thermostat.
