SOURCE: Brake problem
sounds like the brake switch is faulty if you lower the plastic trim panel under the dash and then look up under you will see the switch on the brake pedal lever there will be two switches there one for the cruise control ( easy to spot this has rubber hoses on it) and one with wires going to it replace this one and it should cure both probs

First, check the brake switch. This is mounted in a bracket on the pedal assembly. See if a wire has come off the contact, if ok, then join the 2 wires together and with the ignition contact on, see if the brake lamps work. This will show you if the switch is faulty. If not, get a circuit tester and see if you have power to the wire that goes to the brake switch, if not , then re check the fuses, if they are ok, then you need to go to an auto electrician , as the problem is in the electrical installation. If you do have power and with the 2 wires joined together the brake lamps are still not working, gain access to the rear lamps and with a circuit tester, check to see if there is power to the lamps connector also check at the bulb holder contacts. you should be able to see where you have lost the power.
Hope this helps

Look for cutts in the wiring, tape up. Check all plugs and relays, you can find.
As for diagrammes, either a Haynes of down load a manual, if you have no joy on Google or Alltheweb try http://www.landroverweb.com/Land-Rover-Range-Rover-manual-pdf.htm

SOURCE: I have a 1994 Land
Hello! The 1994 models featured larger headlamps and a second set of rear lights
in the bumper. The new rear lights had the wiring changed several times
to meet real or expected European safety legislation. Some vehicles are
left with an arrangement where the vulnerable bumper contains the only
working lights. The rear side lights in the light cluster become non-operational...
