when viewing from the front of the engine, cylinders on the passenger side are 2-4-6-8, drivers side are 1-3-5-7. from the same view, the distributer is, stating at the tower at the 5 o'clock position, 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2
Firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. This is stamped usually on the front of the intake manifold if you have a TBI set up - if you have a CSFI or MFI set up, it may be on the side
most all v8's have the same firing order which is 1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2. sparkplug gap seems fine. with the engine off, bend the sparkplug wires between your fingers, if small cracks appear then replace them. number one sparkplug is located at the front driver side of the engine, front to back on this side are cylinders 2,4,6, and 8 respectively. turn the engine to the compression stroke on number one, pull the cap, the rotor points where number one will be.
