Spark plug gap

I can't figure out the spark plug gap on my chevy silverado, 5.7 litre, 4x4 truck

    Hello! The 5.7L engine was last produced in model year 1995...Do you have a 5.7L ? The trouble report has your vehicle listed as a 2001 Silverado 1500...This appears to be a typo...Send a comment with year, make , model and engine size and I'll answer your question

Oen he hood of the truck there should be a tag on the front of the truck! the tag says catalyst ! engine info ! but the gap should be 060

Sounds like the plugs haven't got the correct gap meaning low spark. Check the gap and make sure it's to spec

I have a 2006 chevy silverado 2500HD 4x4 6.6 litre duramax deisel and the number 5 cylinder glow plug is bad, I purchased a new glow plug and now I want to make sure that I install it into the number 5...


Actually GM gas engines are 1,3,5,7 on the left and 2,4,6,8 on the right.
The diesel engine is actually just the opposite. 1,3,5,7 are on the right and 2,4,6,8 are on the left

Truck misses after it is warmed up.


Start with a tune up, spark plugs, spark plug wires, fuel filter, air filter and that might cure the PO300B code, hope this helps, Gary

usually when you buy plugs new at the store they are pre gapped.
