Just disable it by turning the key off and leave it off then pump the brake pedal 40 times. this will release the pressure from the abs pump

Had a brake line bad on the back on my 03 S10 I replaced the line n now I can't get the back backs to bleed

use a vacuum pump, have someone keep brake fluid full, do not it go low or you will introduce air back into system,
look online for bleeding brakes using hose and jar and brake fluid. either of them is easy. HF also sells his item.

Have a look on this link below:

In particular a Youtube video:

Bleeding the ABS Brake Control Module On Chevy Using Snap On Solus Ultra
Sometimes it can be a nightmare bleeding the brakes. There seems to be problem after problem or no progress, irrespective of how many times you bleed them. Just a few weeks ago I had the same problem on a 4 litre Jeep.

Have a look on those two links. You obviously know how to bleed brakes and will pick up a tip or two online.

I was in the same position as you - hard pedal until start up after a brake overhaul. I wouldn't like to think how many times I bled the braking system everywhere and nothing worked. Eventually on a Jeep forum somebody suggested changing the brake compensator valve. I did .. and the brakes worked perfectly.

Read a few websites first. You'll het there in the end.

Can't get brake fluid from abs into lines after installing new brake line on a 2000 chevy silverado

I read this same problem all the time, the reason u can't bleed the lines is that a special tool is required that pluge into the ABS and holds the hydraulic valves in the ABS control open for bleeding, there is no way around this.

1997 Chevy 1500 pickup 2wd v8, stepping down on brake bubbles master cylinder checked all lines checked all wheels and bleed ABS system, still have bubbles. Master cylinder is new. Any ideas?

One of the wheel cylinders is leaking, pulling air back into brake system and it's going back to the4 master cylinder. Look for brake fluid leaking at one of the wheel cylinders, that's where the problem is.

1999 Chevy S10 Blazer 4x4. Replacing rear pad's,& Bleeding Breaks

have one person in the blazer pumping the brake pedal and then hold to the floor, crack the bleeder then tighten, release pedal, repeat till all air is out one side at a time, if this does not work then your ABS unit is bad witch if u follow your lines from your master cylinder u will find a black box with a motor on it, or the master cylinder itself is bad, it also can cause u to have no pedal, replace the master cylinder first, most likely cheaper.

Chevy s10 pickup

it could be possible a sensor or a solonoid in the braking system has gone bad. Also, I would simply check the fluid level, as the brakes wear out, the system requires more fluid to be added to it.
