94 exus ls400 radio lights

Have your battety tested for a bad cell, while your driving tbe alternator.is putting out more voltage, more than likely your batt is bad.

When the battery was connected in reverse some electrical components were damaged. A motor, a relay, headlights can work both ways but not printed circuits in electronics. You are lucky you did not toast your computer!!!!!!!

Umm, I may be wrong, but I don't think there is an alternator fuze, it's connected straight to the battery, check all your fuzes

It has something to do with the climate control. You have to have a technician repair it. ebay has many of those repair guys for mad cheap. I did my L of of ebay. They have ways of removing dash and climate control off of google. Just engine search it. Look for people that fix Dash and Climate control. If that does not work then it is a LD problem and probably need a new Radio.

sounds like a faulty headlight switch w/dimmer

With the headlight switch pull to the on position (parking lights working - headlights won't come on), can you flash the lights to high beam. If so, you have a bad switch in the stearing columb. I had that problem on a 94 Ram 1500.

check the wiring cable and the internal signal cable

Does the car run fine and start fine if you don't turn the head lights on ? The symptoms you describe here suggest a battery that is run down, in need of charging or a faulty battery, however if the same batter starts the car without a problem then you have a much more tricky problem to sort out as it seems your lighting circuit is then producing a direct short on power circuit resulting in nothing working. Do the headlights actually come on when you do this and stay on while every thing else goes off ?
