How do I remove the rear light assembly on a 2008 A6 S-Line

Hi
How do I remove the rear light assembly on an Audi A6 S-LIne. This has become full of water and subsequently keeps triggering the warning signs in the cockpit.
Once removed are these easy to take apart, as I would like to dry it off and reseal.

P0471 and p2002 codes, Audi A6 2.0 DPF S-Line Auto

The DPF is designed to be self-cleaning to a certain extent if the engine is run for a good length of time the deposits should burn off. I would kick up a fuss with Audi about the warranty, ask them to show its exclusion. Unless the DPF has become physically damaged by something you have done then they need to have it fixed as it is a result of the deficiency in their design. This is not like some damaged tyre, open to abuse by the driver, the DPF is integral to the vehicle operation and through no commission on your part it is not functioning as it should.

Headlights

If you are only changing the bulbs, on the back of the headlight assembly, you'll see two metal retainers that hold the rear cover to the assembly.  Pop those outward from the headlight, and the rear cover will be loose.  Pull back on it, and you'll see the bulbs.  Turn the retainer counter-clockwise, and it will pull off, allowing you to remove the bulb.  Installation is the reverse of removal.
