In the manual it states that the security system may disable the radio when the battery is disconnected. I dont have a manual in front of me, but I believe it mentions that there is a reset procedure available.
Check your Owners Manual. When the battery is disconnected the radio forgets all of its settings and has to be reprogrammed. If it is a stock radio the directions are in the owners manual. If it is not stock check the radio manufactures website for instructions. This is not a big deal. At the worst take the car to a Automotive Stereo Shop and they should be able to fix it fast and cheap. Good Luck.
