Replacement sequence for serpentine belt for a 96 cadillac devill

I understand the comment but what is the question...I really need to know what engine size...Is it a front or rear wheel drive...If you dont know which pulley it is you need to take the belt off and spin each pulley to be sure unless it is evident....But I really need more indo........Thanks.......Metalpoet

the tensioner should move counter clock wise to place tension on the belt clock wise to remove belt there is a bolt in the center of the tensioner that bolts it to the engine remove this bolt to detach the tensioner from the engine reverse to install the tensioner will place the correct amount of tension against the belt hope this helps

power steering pump or serpentine belt and you need to find out the cause of the failure. is there power steering fluid anywhere? is the serpentine belt still on the car? need more details on circumstances. but start lookin at the front right hand side by battery for anything ammiss. then post back..

best bet is to get 2 sizes bigger and 2 sizes smaller , if not keep yrying theres no number as all caddys came with ac usually

the belt is on back of head,no hard to do.remove cover,release tension, by pulling back on tensioner.
with car off grab belt with your hand and pull,this way you can see how tensioer releases tension.

dia gram should be located on the inside of the hood when open or on the top front of engine look care fully its the not hard to find and make sure you have a gm serpintine belt removal tool

I assume all lamps are tested to be ok.
1) Check fuse A11 in trunk (10A) is ok,
2) Check turn flash enable relay 'F' in trunk is operated when vehicle Ign on,
3) Check +12V is present on Lt Blu wire on turn flasher module (LHS steering column) when Ign on,
4) if no fault found during above checks, operation of the turn switch should be checked
