Transmision sensor

the main suspect is the transmission control module. however an oil and filter change and band and clutch pack adjustment probably help as well

1999 dodge ram 1500 4x4 transmision slipps between first and secund gear

drop the transmission oil pan and drain it and replace the filter...
If you have over 100,000 miles and have never had a transmission flush before, don't do one now. just do a drain and fill. if that doesn't help, you might need a rebuild.

How do i check my transmission fluid? for a 2000

Set the parking brake and put a block on at least one wheel. Pop the hood and find the Transmission dipstick. Start the engine and shift the gear shift into neutral. Pull the dipstick, wipe it with a clean rag, put it back in, pull it out and read it.

When changing the transmision filter how much fkuid do I need to put back in the transmision after the new filter is in

Figure on having on hand about 12 quarts, but always use the dip stick to check the fluid level...I know they are hard to read, but if you have some old carbon paper that we use to use before computer, you can wipe the paper on the stick and it is a trick to be able to see fluid on the stick better.

Transmision

Sine I don't know the engine or the trans used in your car I will give you both locations of te filter.
If it is the external spin on filter it is near the top of the trans case, if it is the flat filter it is inside the trans pan.
