Setting the Time (Without Date Display) If your vehicle has an AM/FM base radio with a single CD player and preset buttons numbered one through six, the radio will have a clock button for setting the time. You can set the time by following these steps: 1. Press the clock button until the hour numbers begin flashing on the display. Press the clock button a second time and the minute numbers will begin flashing on the display. 2. While either the hour or the minute numbers are flashing, turn the tune knob, located on the upper right side of the radio, clockwise or counterclockwise to increase or decrease the time. Instructions Setting the Clock

1. • 1 Turn the car on then hold the "Clock" button until the ":" begins blinking -- usually four to six seconds though some take up to a minute.
     
   • 2 Use the "1" and "10" buttons to set the minutes, "100" and "1000" buttons to set the hour
     
   • 3 Press the "Set/Reset" button to set the new time.
     

You need to set the clock. Press and hold the "Clock" button then use the 1,10,100,1000 buttons to change the time. When you're done press the "set" button.

These instructions are for a 93 but the process should be similar for your version.

If you have a digital clock you will have three buttons below clock one will say date and one will say time. There will also be two small black buttons above the clock. Push and hold time button and use the two small black buttons to set time- left button goes down in time and right button goes up. You can do the same thing to set date as well.

Are you pressing the clock set buttons above the steering wheel?

hi im not a bmw expert i just have one. to set my clock you press the computer read out switch(end of indicator stick on mine) scroll through until the time of day is displayed in the panel where you see mpg,miles to next fill etc. use the small knob to the right of the display and turn it you will see the time advance stop at the right time. The display is syncronized with the clock on the dashbord. if not the right knob try the left one im doubting my memory.good luck

Press end of stalk to start reset and procede

If you also have the analog clock in your gauge cluster change the time on it first and the computer shoul set itself after you have changed the time on the analog clock.

between the tachometer and the speedometer on your dash, you have two buttons
"S/R" on the left and one with a clock on the right.

press the "clock" button for a few seconds until the hours (or --:-- if never set) appears
on the "screen" under the speed meter and the column sign flashes.
press the S/R button to increase the hours until appropriate.
press the clock button again to pass to the minutes.
press the S/R button to increase the minutes until appropriate.
press the clock button to confirm the time.

at that point you are all set, and the clock on the radio should be ok too.
Every time you jump start the car, you will have to reset the clock though.
