I have the exact same problem on a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2004. The rear passenger window rolls down only from the rear passenger window and won't go up or down from the front. It has to be in the wiring because the problem was intermittent initially and a new window motor does the exact same thing. If you figured it out or have the wiring diagram please let me know.

My front passenger window stopped working. We've checked the fuse, replaced the switch and the door lock button works but not the window. Could this be the motor?

After I verify both driver window control switch and the passenger wdo control switches don't cause the window to operate, I turn off engine and go on ACC Mode and listen for a relay clicking in the door or the BCM while you operate the switch. If you hear a click, then it's a bad wdo motor.

Power windows wont roll up or down on 2006 Cadlliac cts

With the electronic's involved ,your best bet would be to take to a qualified repair shop . The door 's have electronic control module inside that control door lock's an window operation . Hooking up a professional or factory scan tool an viewing input data an checking DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's would be the first step any professional technician would do . You probably have no idea what these are ? Messing with these systems can render your vehicle unuseable if you do not know what you are messing with .

Power Windows System Components
The following components are used to control the power windows:
• Driver door module (DDM)
• Passenger front door module (PDM)
• LH rear door module (LRDM)
• RH rear door module (RRDM)
• Driver door switch assembly (DDSA)
• RH front power window switch
• LH rear power window switch
• RH rear power window switch
• LH front power window motor
• RH front power window motor
• LH rear power window motor
• RH rear power window motor
• Class 2 serial data link
• DR MOD PWR C/B 30 Amp circuit breaker
• DRIVER DR MOD 10 Amp fuse -- DDSA and DDM logic, DDM internal driver operation.
• PSGR DR MOD 10 Amp fuse -- PDM logic and internal driver operation.
• REAR DR MOD 15 Amp fuse -- LRDM and RRDM logic and internal driver operation.
Power Windows Operation
The vehicle is equipped with power windows controlled by the door modules. Each passenger door window can be operated, either from a power window switch built into the driver door switch assembly (DDSA) , or, from a power window switch mounted locally on its associated door. The driver door window can be operated only from the driver door power window switch built into the DDSA.
When the driver door module (DDM) receives a driver door window switch request from the DDSA, the DDM examines the request and inspects to see if it has received any messages from any of the other vehicle modules prohibiting the movement. If no prohibitive messages have been received, the DDM then applies power and ground to the driver door window motor to move the window as requested.
When a passenger door module, passenger front door module (PDM), LH rear door module (LRDM), or RH rear door module (RRDM), receives a window switch request from, either the DDSA or the window switch mounted locally to its door, the passenger door module examines the request and inspects to see if it has received any messages from any of the other vehicle modules prohibiting the movement. If no prohibitive messages have been received, the passenger door module then applies power and ground to its associated window motor to move the window as requested.

So do yourself a favor an take it to a qualified repair shop.

Most likely you have to replace the switch assembly on the driver side it probably got wet over the years from rain and snow and cause it to short out. Do not get a used part from a scrap yard because your end up with the same problems.

If you have a multimeter you can go to the underside of the master panel in the drivers door and independently check the switches for voltage or with no power to the switch assembly check for continuity. Good place to start. If you get continuity to through the switch then you need to check power to the window actuators in the doors.

Passenger side window won't roll up using the driver's side switc

Before you replace anything, inspect the connector pins in both the driver's door switch and the passenger door switch. If you don't find any problem with these connector pins, replace the driver's door control switch.

Neither rear window will roll down using the rear controls. They both work fine using the driver's master controls. Also the passenger rear window rolls down, on its own, when the switch is on.

Is you car fitted with a childlock safety switch for the rear windows?

If so the windows will work from the front but will be locked out to the rear seat passenger

Divers window won't roll up my Camry

No won't be fuse. My guess is there is something faulty with the main controller. You could probably verify this by trying the switch on right rear passenger door. If it works there then the problem is at the main controller in the driver door. Could be a loose wire or the switch itself is broken.
