Hello i have a problem wit my focus 2002 staytion wagon back door won't open. I take out the inside panel of door try to make it open but not abel how can i make it open make the lach work

put some lubricant inside

door handle broke depends on what door handle it is.if door cant be open on out side out side door handle broke.if cant open door on inside inside door handle broke.door handle clip that connects to latch rod broken.when you try open door handle not engage to latch rod.door not going open.have to replace door handle with new clip holds latch rod in place.

you have a faulty alternator by the sounds of it, try this simple test, : test the voltage of the battery with the vehicle off with a simple multimeter, it should read just over 12v then test it with the car running, it should read around 14-14.5 volts if it still only reads 12v then your alternator needs replacing.

I had the same problem with a Toyota truck, either the key is worn or the lock itself is, you can try slightly moving the key back and forth while turning it in the lock. Do not apply too much pressure or you'll risk snapping the key off. to fix the problem completely, I would try having a new key made, if that doesn't work, get new locks, have them keyed to match by a locksmith.

Try a slim jim first, down the side of the window. Or AAA or locksmith. If no luck, remove the seat first. Find the screws and bolts around the door handle and arm rest. Most Ford's have screws around the outer side of the panel. I don't believe your's does. The panel lifts or pops off. Once the panel is off, you can reach down and open the door. Just a note. I have done some to where the panel came out in pieces.

sometimes there is an emergency open latch inside the back panel, but usually it is posted on the panel itself. otherwise,try pushing in on the door from the outside, and instead of lifting the handle twist it upward on a pivot.

there is no seperate fuse for the hatch, it is controlled through the body control module.

Its more than likely the door lock actuator and if so your going to have to take the inside door panel off to get to it. It is possible to do it, its just a pain

Driver door module is where to look also a broken or corroded wire and if you use your key to punch in the door code then the key pad has a hole in it or it just went bad it's not the remote control also check the master door lock switch for corrosion at the pins and the plugs same with the driver door module
