It is in the engine bay next to the radiator cap. There are very few reasons where you ever need to go near it.

check fuses first
then scan the PCM for errors.
the PCM will in fact not allow 0D if there are problems related to PCM or engine loads wrong.

The pcm is bolted to the firewall inside the engine compartment on the passenger side behind the coolant recovery bottle.

The PCM module is located under the hood, on top of the firewall and near to the coolant reservoir.

pcms rarely go bad, i know it sounds bad but i would be checking for bad grounds

Check for a bad pcm ground

I don't think the PCM is your problem, is the check engine light on? It could be you idle air control motor this is located on the throttle body, but because this happens while driving I am thinking you will need to replace your crank shaft position sensor it is located on the transmissinon bell housing it is very hard to replace without the correct tools. If the check engine light is on take it to a local auto parts store and ask if they can check the check engine codes for you they usally will do this for free.

check fuel pump pressure and relay.check plugs wires and coils.could have faulty pcm.
