1994 honda civic 1.5 16v stalling after pressing accelerator from idle
Car stalls after pressing accelerator from idle or after removing foot from accelerator while changing gears. It does only after engine has warmed. Tried rising idle and cleaning throttle body but it didn't help much. Where should I look next? Fuel filter? Egr valve? Thanks

Another place to look is your IAC, or Idle air control valve. It is bolted to the back of the intake manifold, and can be removed and cleaned. It is usually the cause of most Honda Idle problems.

stalls. (hot engine, cold engine, both?)_what engine of the many.?
lost engine power. sure that will stall any motor.
ever tune it up r, or do the 60k mile service points, EVER?
if car was serviced, we can then say Stalls.
1: lost 12vdc to EFI and spark , did dash lamps all go dead at stall.
can you save the stall with a fast right foot. (big clue there !!!)
2: lost compression hot. (guage it)
3: lost spark. (tests)
4: lost fueling, or floods more simple tests, ask if not known.
5: EGR main valve stuck wide open.
6: ISC stuck closed but will not stop power, or fast right foot.
lost fueling can be just the skippped, 60k fuel fuilter swap.
the ECU, does its best to prevent stalls, in fact it can raise the idle speed, to stop just that. this is ISC actions. idle speed controls. if the car love to stall, coming to a traffic light , this is usually the EGR sticking wide open. (it closes just before you stop) you can save the stall with a fast right foot easy? ISC sticking harder, EGR sticking impossible. (lost fueling or lost spark or bad DC power to EFI) the FSM shows the 50k service to clean the EGR main valve. it must not be sticky. the isc is the same deal, they too can gum up. 1998 , easy.
I would replace the fuel filter, double check your work and make sure that all plug wires are securely connected and going to the right place (we all make mistakes sometimes) and check or replace the coil.
I recommend doing a leak down test. It could be valves or blow by. Also try cleaning the idle air control valve (IAC-V), the exhaust gas recirculation valve (EGR), and fast idle valve (if it has one).
