You have a timing chain that is good for the life of the engine. The only thing that could need replacing is the chain tensioner if it starts to make noise.
No sir they will not interchange. i worked at a transmission shop for 7 years. the inline 6 has a 500 trans in it and the v8 has a 518 trans in it. the bellhousings are different.
You probably could with a lot of work. The Cherokee Sport has the 4.0l engine and since it is a 95, it may or may not be an OBD2 computer system where as the 94 will not be. Plus you are going to a much bigger engine. The computers will have to be changed and I am sure you will have to do a lot of fabrication with the motor and transmission mounts among other things. It can be done, but it would be a ton of work!!!!
you might want to check you cam shaft sensor amd also there is a different sensor under the distutor i had to replace both of these on my 95 jeep grand cherokee laredo
