Mass air flow sensor, is the air box and all vaccuum hoses tight? make 100 percent sure that wires and plugs are good. Dont deviate from the motorcraft plugs and good wires-ACDelco or similar. Possibly coil.

2004 f 150 idles rough at stops, and completely stalls in reverse

Most likely, the vaccum hose under the manafold is leaking. Sad news is, unless you are a mechanic, this will cost you about $600 at the dealer. The hose goes to the break booster, and was routed under the manafold to eliminate the EGR valve connection as 5.4L engines use variable valve timing for polution control. Thanks EPA.

What causes the computer to read bank 1 to lean, bank 2 to lean. It also idles rough and will stall out while stopped. Runs great at operating speeds. It's on a 2004 F150, 4x4, 5.4 vin code 5.

More than likely you have a vaccume leak.Check arround the intake looking for any broken vac.hoses(especally the PCV hose) all the way up to where it connects to the intake.Could be a bad mass airflow sensor, but more likely a vac. leak.

is it idling high and you put it i gear it runs rougher and smoke black check your coolant sensor also connection or sensor itself and fuel pressure if high check for return line blockage also vacuum leaks make sure you have the right vacuum going to your map sensor you need to check right vaccum at idle going to your map sensor/

Idle is rough

it sounds like you have a vaccume leak , check all hoses that run to the throttlebody for cracks or holes, if you are losing vaccume than your car will run erratically , good luck.

1993 ford f150 w/ l6 engine won't idle/accelorate rite

unplug the engine coolant temp sensor. 1 for the ecm, not the gauge. It may be way off and causing engine to run very rich, thinking it's cold all the time. At highway speed, you're using enough to get by. If not the answer, uplug MAP sensor and try that. It could think you're in outer space or way below see level. It's black rectangle with vac hose going to it. boo switch and o/d cancel switch errors were likely you not actuating them during koeo test. Others could have been cause by other previous.
