I had my oil changed at one of the oil change chain stores and by the time I got home it was leaking all over because they had cross threaded the oil drain plug an it was not sealing. If I hadn't caught it time, the engine would have locked up.
Maybe your engine is locked up - does it turn over now?
I wonder what fluid it is? Is it oil?
My son locked up an engine - the oil light was on (most cars only have an oil pressure low light) and he thought it would tell him if there was a problem (like some other warning).
2005 Caravan, what engine? Has oil been changed lately? Is there any problem with performance, such as stalling, stumble, hard starting or anything abnormal happening?
Incorrect gap in spark plug, check plug wires for broken or loose connections. Fuel filter may be clogged or impurities in the fuel system. Check for a vacuum leak at throttle body or in vacuum hoses. Hope that Helps. Need more help email me.
Disengage the traction control if possible see if that helps. the oil light will come on after stalling, because the key is on.. just like when you start the car. it may be dirty fuel system... filter and or injectors...
start the car but do not drive it. look at the belt when it is running. if belt hops around then the tensioner is bad and not holding belt tight enough. or the belt itself may be bad. alo check for a bad idler pully for the belt.
It might be that your car has no motor oil in it. Check the oil level and see what you come up with. I would not try to restart it over and over, until you know there is motor oil in the car. Hope this helps
Check the oil level. The low oil sensor will disable the ignition if more than a quart low. If you have not checked your oil in the last 1600 miles, its past time to do so. Check oil often.
get the oxygen sensor checkde out and the maf sensor...sounds like a vacuum leak too...Stop driving it and get it looked at ..if you dont see any loose hose's that are small in dia.. .then check those 2 sensors i spoke of ....
