My metro wont start, battery was pretty much dead but the radio/lights would still kick on and if we jumped it the engine would start. it sat outside for about a year and the battery completely died we thought, because the lights/radio wouldnt kick on even. but now with a new battery it still wont turn on at all.
Did u clean the termials really good clean battery post poss u havea def battery or a alt going bad and also look at ur termial to see if they are broken
I have had a similar problem which resulted from a worn starter motor. You say you put in a new battery not just charged the old one right? With my car, the engine would make a single click noise when i tried to start it. that was it. music played lights would go on but no engine. Check with your mechaninc if you think it might be the starter. I dont want you to buy a new one and realize your starter was not the problem
