Replace knock sensor on 2001 chevy silverado 4.8 litre please explain where it is on the motor and how much components need to be moved to replace it
You have two knock sensor's, both sit under the in-take magifold on top of the engine, you will have to remove injector rail and in-take.
I change the one I had but its still coming up on the machine

There are 2 knock sensors on these motors. They are located in the valley cover under the intake manifold.
You will have to remove the intake to service them and to even be able to see them.
I have a 4.2 2011 chevy malibu are there 2 on it
