All of the power windows stopped working

If both the passenger door and driver's door switch won't put the window up, it's either the fuse or the window motor (probably not the switch since they both stopped working at the same time). If it was working fine and all of a sudden stopped working, it's probably a fuse or relay. If it gradually got slower until it stopped, it's most likely the window motor.

Viewing wiring diagrams an testing electrical circuits with a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter is the way to find the problem . You don't know how to do that ? Your best bet mite be to take to a qualified repair shop.

Those are all really common symptoms of the alternator going bad on those cars. I would have it checked to make sure it's charging properly.

on 1987 all you mentioned are on same fuse #11 located in fuse box below steering wheel 3rd row 3rd fuse from left next to either a blank space if you do not have power windows,or next to silver circuit breaker if you do have power windows.

There is a recall on this issue....water can enter the switches and cause the switch to fry and or cause a fire.

Since it is only happening on the drivers side door to multiple switches and lights on that door only, I think the problem is the wiring harness as it enters the drivers door by the door hinges.

MY POWER WINDOWS WOULD WORK AND THEN NOT WORK, IT SEEMED TO BE WHEN I WOULD SHUT THE DOOOR THEN THEY WOULD WORK, THEN CLOSE THE DOOR AGAIN AND THEN THEY WOULD QUIT AGAIN. THEY ALL STOPPED WORKING AT THE SAME TIME, IT SEEMS TO HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR. NOW THEY WON'T WORK AT ALL.
