Hello, ect is "Electronically Controlled Transmission." I believe it works something like the over-drive, there should be a button to push to turn it on and off. Hope this is helpful.

Those filters normally run on the r side along the frame . About in the middle . They are normally are mark whit an arrow showing the gas flow. Replaced hose clamps . Don't use old ones .

This switch is for the Electronic controlled transmission. in the normal position the transmission uses its normal shift points. In the PWR position the shift point are delayed to give you the illusion of more power. Keep it in the normal position for everyday driving.

PWR indicator light what does it indicate? on a 95 camry le

Automatic?? if it is, the ECT button for the transmission is set to ON....it should be near the shifter!! This just delays the auto-transmission to hold in gears longer!! Check also if the ECT button is damaged!! Hopefully this helps
