91 lexus ls 400. nothing electrical work. car start when u jump it, but wont stay running. no dashboard light, no interior light, no head light, no ac, no radio, no nothing? what could be the problem?

Could be a bad brake light switch or the solenoid itself or wiring. See if brake lights work. If they don't then check brake light fuse, if thats ok then check at the brake switch for power or jump the two wire plug lights should light and shifter work unless solenoid bad. Good luck

Test battery with load tester. Check for electrical short.

Check the main fuse under the hood .It is possible corroded

As a first course of action, I strongly suggest that you have the battery charged. It can be an indication of a weak battery or a faulty alternator. If the battery light still on after charging then the problem will surely be on the alternator itself. If that's the case the alternator should be replaced to resolve the problem.

You may try to reset it to by removing the positive battery connector, letting it sit for at least 5mins. then reconnect it again. This will reset the system and can get the battery light off.

it is your alternator.. its going out. my car did it too..

It is a bad (leaky) electrolytic capacitor in the dash board that cost a few dollars. The dealer wants to install a whole new dashboard assembly for big $$$.

SOUND LIKE THE STARTER SOLENOID OR STARTER IS DEFECTIVE.REMOVE THEM HAVE THEM CHECKED OUT.AT ANY AUTO PARTS PLACE.REMINDER TURN OFF RADIO SO YOU WONT LOSE RADIO CODE WHEN DISCONNECTING BATTERY.

check ur fuels thats usually the problem and its very in expensive

that would be the starter gone bad .needs to be replaced,it is a real job the first time around.

If the car ran and got you home after a jump start I doubt the alternator is bad. Check your battery. And remember never ever disconnect the battery cable with the engine running.
