I would check wiring between driver's door and pillar for broken wires..these vehicles have door modules and if you a circuit to them, multiple problems will occur..if ok,will have to be scanned and check for codes to lead to problem.. i hope this helps

Interior light delay not working

That is normal operation, as long as the door is open the door ajar switch senses that and keeps the interior light(s) on.

No interior lights

There may be a dome light override switch that keeps the overhead light off when the doors are opened. Consult owners manual or see dealer.

The inside light not turn off

1) Open and close all four doors to make sure one of the switches that control the interior lights isn't stuck closed somehow.
2) Turn the instrument panel light dimmer switch clockwise. Turning the knob fully counter-clockwise will make the interior lights switch on constantly.
3) If you have the optional Key-less Entry feature, that could be what is causing your problem. It's a little more complicated to fix and you would need to either buy yourself a factory service manual and troubleshoot the problem or take your car to the dealer and let them have a look at it.

Cant get my interior lights to come on when i open the door.

My 02 did the same thing, i don't know if you tried this, but turn the interior lights on with the dimmer switch, then back off. Then lock the car with the remote and hopefully when you unlock it the lights will start coming on.

Cadillac Deville Electrical problem

You could try checking the fuses to see if any are blown, if the fuses are all good then it's possible the door switch is bad or not making a connection from dirt or debris, the door switch is generally located insdie the door at the hinge or its a push button switch, when the door closes it pushes the switch in, the switch may also be jammed in keeping your lights from turning on.

Interior lights

You may need to go back to the Dealership and have them Run a Computer Check and see if it can tell them the Problem. Since we do not have the Owners Manual to locate the Switch, The Computer may be Sending a Trouble code through these Lights.
