Sounds like your emergency brake is stuck. Do you always use your emergency brake, when you park the car?Sounds like your emergency brake is stuck. Do you always use your emergency brake, when you park the car?

Transmission may now be toast since you continued to drive it when maybe low on fluid or torque converter had failed. How long since last fluid and filter change? Ever?
I would be looking for a vacumn hose leaking. The cold engine needs a rich mixture and braking uses the vacumn booster causing the mixure to lean. A warm engine races with the extra air.
Check transmission fluid level. If it's ok need to have trans fluid pressure checked. Need schematic, but should be a port on the side of trans for this. If to in depth then take it to a repair shop. Could just have a clogged trans filter.
sounds like your clutch is going out, is it hard to put in gear with clutch all the way depressed? could also be the sinkronyzer going out, could be the gears in the transmission also going bad. need to check the fluid in the transmission.
check your trans fluid level make sure that it is ok but you have to check it hot in park on level ground in order to get an accurate reading. if fluid level is ok you may have to get the tranny serviced the clutches inside the tranny could be slipping.
not sure if this is the answer yet but i have the same problem with the same codes i work at an auto parts store and a few of the techs that are customers have lead me in the direction of changing the ignition switch, i am doing it today will let you know if it solves the problem
Have you checked the High-Low ratio lever. Half-way between High and Low is a Neutral, so no drive to any axle even if a gear in the main box is selected.
Try locking the differential. If this gives you drive, then it might be a final drive (half-shaft) failure.
Hi the trans range switch or some times called an inhibitor switch needs replaced and have the bands adjusted for the transmission which is an external bolt with jamb nuts near the range switch after that has been performed the battery cable removed for 10 minutes to reset all adaptive learn for transmission
Brake lock solenoid has failed not allowing the gear selector to move out of "Park"
Excessively low transmission fluid (note: if car is operated for an extended amount of time with low fluid level the transmission will fail prematurely)
Shorted electrical component not allowing the PCM to control the transmission. Example: shorted fuse
Flex plate (flywheel) is broken completely not transferring engine power to the transmission.
2. Car goes into gear but then fades out of gear or is slipping while driving:
Transmission fluid is low
Transmission clutch discs or bands are worn out or burned
Faulty transmission shift solenoid.
3. Car goes into gear but does not shift out of first:
its not the brake car mobes , its the gears nothing happens when i select reverse, drive or anything, i had to push the cat=r into my garage.. thanks.
