You can buy new push clips that hold the door pannel on at any local part store. This will hold the pannel on to shut the door. Thats if you were talking about the door pannel.

The display shows the message open/close door. I've noted that the light inside doesn't always come on. Is this common? This unit is only a little over a year and old.

Locate the door switch, it will be inside the door frame somewhere, a little black thing you can push in with your thumb. You need to drench it in WD40 and push it lots of times. Then it should work reliably.

When the side door and passenger door are closed the small light inside comes on

Most cars have an interior light switch that works in conjunction with the dash panel light dimmer. When in it's extreme position, it turns on the interior light. Another possibility is a faulty door switch. I hope this helps you. Let me know.

Interior lights dome and inside side door lights will not turn off

there is a little thing inside on the driver side dashboard, that everytime you close the door it presses this button down, thus turning the lights off when the door is closed. this has probably come loose and fallen inside the dash..

I removed door panel to install speakers now the door wont close

You need to make sure the panel is on perfect. If it is a little off, it will catch the ends. Is the inner panel catching the door? If you added bigger speakers, it may catch on the inner part of the door, closet to the speakers.

2002 F-250 door not register that it closed

The sensor is inside the door and is part of the latch to close the door. It has either come loose or is broke and you will need to replace the actual latch inside the door that keeps the door closed.

The door won't stay closed

you may have to take off the inside panel and see if the inside latch is broken stop by your local nissan dealership in the parts department and they be able to print you off pictures and diagrams showing you how it comes a part.

2002 taurus passenger door lock

Mine did this. I went around to each door and sprayed a liberal amount of WD-40 in the latch, then open and closed each door about five times. It hasn't done it since. I think the switch inside was not moving freely.

Door a-jar light comes on.(when all doors closed)

Been there, done that. Spray some WD-40 or other lubricant (white lithium grease) into the 2 front doors. (Start with the driver's door. The switch is inside the door where the latch is. These are poorly designed. If it's like mine, it will get worse as the weather gets colder.
