Go to SaturnFriendsForums.com it's a great site with a WEALTH of info on saturn specific problem solving.

In the mean time have auto zone or other parts place read the codes for the service light,

MOST problems are caused by a bad water temp sensor on the right side of the engine down low ( looking at it from the front of the car ) it's called the ECTS sensor, get a BRASS one from auto zone for $8.00 it will solve a lot of problems that there may not be a code for.

Reset change oil light on a 2001 Saturn l300

I don't know the year of the vehicle so I'll give you 2 possible ways to reset it.

2004-2005

Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Immediately after Step 1 press and release the gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds. If the Change Engine Oil light is flashing, the system is reset. The light will flash for up to 30 seconds or until the ignition is turned off. If the light comes on again and stays on for 30 seconds at the next engine start, it did not reset. You will need to reset the system again.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Turn the key to run, but don't start the car. Open up the underhood fuse box (move the coolant line out of the clips for easier access). In the fuse box is a button labeled "OIL-R". Hold it down for five seconds. The "change oil soon" light should flash for about 30 seconds or so. That means it's reset.

I have a 2008 Saturn Vue xr..when I start it up it makes a loud beeping sound(like a truck backing up) for about 30 seconds. What is causing that?

There could be a few different possible failures with something like this. First and foremost, if you have a check engine or service engine soon light on the dash, scan the codes. This can be done at autozone or advanced auto for free. please post the codes here and i will run them and most likely be able to tell you exactly what is causing your issue.. The codes will help narrow this down and save you a bunch of $$$$. Also, are there any lights that come on the dash while the beeping is occuring or after it is done? please advise, -Tim

Hello, I have a 2003 Saturn L 200 that is giving me fits. When I start it the Battery light comes on with all the other dummy light then they all go out, but about 30 second later the Battery light comes...

Could be a short in the cluster.
The light is supposed to go out once the alternator output is above 12 volts. When the alternator is not charging it provides a ground for that warning light circuit.

Have 95 saturn sl with code 26 and 27 quad driver

well the quad driver may not be at fualt and most likely is not.

there is a fualt line that the computer uses to monitor for fualts but the thing is one line monitors four different things and the code is to get you in the general area but not to the exact fualt. so from here you need to test for failed components. that code and the quad driver monitors the a/c , evap solniod , egr solenoid and coolant fan relay. the fan relay and egr are the most common i see all the time. and with you having an isssue with that coolant light i want to say check the fan circuit.

let me know if you have more question thank you and good luck

How do i reset the oil light on a 03 saturn vue? i did the turn the key and press the gas peddle 3 times and that didn't work.

The procedure you used is for the 2006 > Vue, and will not work on your 2003. For the 2002-2005 Saturn Vue V4 or V6 - Under the hood you will see a black fuse box behind the battery. Open it up and you will see a red button, it is small and looks like a fuse but on the top it will say Oil-Res. Turn on the ignition & press and hold that button for about 10 seconds. You may want to have a friend sit in the driver's seat and watch for the indicator to start flashing, which indicates you've activated the reset. Turn off the ignition and that will reset the Oil light.

Saturn repair code P1182??????

Most of the time you can take the positive battery lead off for about 30 seconds and reconnect but the simplest thing to do is go to the automotive parts store and most all of them will clear it for free or read them for free.

2003 saturn vue service light on with wrench how do I reset

Open the hood. You will notice there is a large black box on the right-hand side directly behind the battery. This black box is the fuse box. Pull the top of the fuse box off. There are two clips on either side; once you pop one side, the other comes off very easily. In the top left-hand side of the fuse box where all the fuses sit, you will see a large orange/red block. Below this block is a button that says "reset." Press this button for 5 seconds. Turn the car on and wait for a minute. If the light does not go on, turn off the car and set the key to ACC on the key ring. Push the reset button again, holding it for a total of 15 seconds. Turn the key to off, take out the key, return the key and start the car again. Allow the car to run for 2 full minutes. It is taking the system a few minutes to register that this button has been pressed.

I did not use my 2002 saturn sl2 for 2 weeks because I was out of state, when I came to use it it would not start, I had to "floor" the gas pedal until it started, then the service engine soon light came...

Well most likey you may have a Coolant Temp Sensor concern causing it to flood but it could also be from sitting as well. The SES probally come on due to it running a bit rough after starting & set a Misfire code. The Oil Change Light Is easy to re-set.Turn Ignition on but do not start, open hood, remove underhood fuse box cover hold down the red oil-r button for 5-8 secs.then check oil change soon lamp, should be flashing.Turn Ignition off & it's reset
