Open the hood, above each headlight you will find 2 adjusting screws pointing straight down. Be gentle as it is very easy to 'screw' them up!

Isuzu rodeo headlights adjust


Put your car 3-m to the wall, lift your hood and finde the screws on the headlights. Turning the screw you will see on the wall the movement of the light/shadow.
Screw look like this:

On both light you have 2of thees, one is for adjusting lef/right and other is for adjusting up/down.

Need to adjust front headlights


Park the vehicle in front of a wall, at night. Turn on your low beams, and from there, you can adjust it, by, if your Rodeo is like most of the newer vehicles, there are some screws right on top, two up at the front of the grill, one at the back of the headlight, turn them, mostly the back one will be the one you need, until the light hits right where you will need it.

THE 1996 RODEO HAS A 2.6 - 3.2 ENGINE. THE 2000 RODEO 2.2 - 3.2 ENGINE.LOOK LIKE THE 3.2 ENGINE WILL FIT.IT HAS SAME 3.68 BORE X 3.03 STROKE.

Ignition switch want turn off


Pull shifter all the way back and push it foward to park firmly. Try to get key out now. The cable needs to be adjusted.

Replace highbeam 1996 rodeo

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the front grille and/or headlight bezel.
  3. Remove the headlight bulb retaining rim, headlight and disconnect the wiring.
  4. Before installing, spray some silicone grease into the bulb socket.
  5. Connect the wiring and install the bulb.
  6. Install the retaining rim and grille.
  7. Adjustment: turn the adjusting screw (A) for vertical adjustment. Turn the screw (B) for horizontal adjustment.
