Make sure the cams are turning, if not, replace the timing belt. if belt is o.k., check the cam sensor. if the cams dont turn or the cam sensor is bad, it wont spark

Timing belt might look good on top but it might be missing the teeth at the crank

Where is the ignition switch located on a 2003 dodge stratus ,is it the left middle our right one

Not likely to cause the switch to "blow". are you looking for the ignition fuse or relay- they're under the dash or under the hood in the fuse/power distribution box!

No ingnition fire on cylinders 2 and 4 2004 dodge stratus 2.4 L engine

Easy! The DIS module has failed...!

The Stratus 2.4L engine uses what is called "a wasted spark" ignition system, that feeds two cylinders with the same ignition coil. Havind a pair of Cylinders dead means one of the coils or the module is inoperative. Amclaussen.

01 dodGe stratus. Starts then dies. When it sits overnight I canfire Otho like there wasn't ever a problem but the when I turn it off or even drive for a bit it dies ignores I turn the key off and

Probably loses either gas or spark. So check fuel pressure when it won't start, and check for spark on a plug wire. If fuel pressure is low, probably a bad pump. If no spark, diagnose the ignition system: coils, ignition coil control module (ICM), crank position sensor, etc.

An easy way to see if you lost gas, is to spray carb cleaner or starting fluid into the air intake while cranking engine. If it rumbles and tries to start, you know it is a fueling problem.

How do i change the timing belt on a 04 dodge stratus not sure if thats the full problem the engine cranks and wants to start but no spark any ideas?

timing belt will not affect spark. If you don't have spark, recommend you focus there first, because timing belt is a big job. Use a test light to see if there is power to the coil with key on. If no power at coil, check ignition fuse and relay. If you have power but no spark coming from the coil, the problem is the coil or the ignition modulator. Any questions, please reply.
