You need an expert to loo into this, the dealer is the best option out there, more cost but they will fix it faster.
p1423 refers to secondary air injection system --insufficient flow detected causes hose connections---air valve--air pump p1421 refers to secondary air injection system bank 2 insufficient flow detected. causes-- hose connections---air valve---air pump.
I'm not sure where you got the codes... I have a Peake R5/FCX-3 - nice for diagnostics.

I reset the CEL and it returned with just the P1421 and P1423 code. I researched the web and found that on the BMW, this is the secondary air pump for cylinders 1-3 that provides air to the exhaust during warm up. According to others, this may be due to a check valve stuck open or closed. Or, it could also be a leak in the output hose or a vacuum hose to the valves. The vacuum line runs close to the engine causing it to get brittle and crack. This 30 cents hose can cause the valve to stay closed, keeping water in the pump and eventually, corrosion to occur. I'll work on it over the weekend and post my results.
