Its not very hard if you have mechanical know how, the upper and lower intakes are easly removed after they are removed you have axcess to injector rails. there is like 14 bolts in upper intake and 8 in lower plastic intake then 4 bolds hold rain in place

Its actually quite easy if you have some mechanical know how once youve located the injector that you want to replace youll have to disconnect it from the fuel rail its usually held in place by a small clip which can be pulled off with a small screw driver unplug the harness pull slow and firm in upward motion may have to twist while pulling it should pop out make sure that the o-ring comes out with the injector if not the new one will leak (badly) install the new o-ring on the new injector push down on it until ti pop in place reverse the process to finish up.

On a 2004 ford freestar Van 3.9L I have 1 fuel injector bad. How can I test the fuel injectors to see which one is bad.

disconnect the connectors one at a time with the car running. If there is no change in the rpm when you disconnect, the injector is not working.

My ford freestar 2004 wont start it is nit getting fuel changed the fuel pump and still fuel wont go thru

Change the fuel filter and check two items.
1. Check to see if your fuel pump relay is good, you can do this by swapping say the a/c relay for it and the fuel pump for the a/c. If ac doesn't work but the van will run then you need to replace the relay.
2. in the event of a crash, you have what is called a emergency fuel cut-off switch which is usually located in the kick panel on the drivers side. Make sure it hasn't been tripped or better yet gone bad.

My 2004 ford freestar van is hesitating going down the road. i change the egr valve . could it be the fuel filter

most likely not the fuel filter- try plugs and wires... could be a number of things, if the vehicle runs fine while in park and doesnt hesitate, most likely is sprk plugs and wires or a transmission problem...
