Verify that you have a fully charge battery and that you have the same amount of voltage at the battery as at the starter when the key is turned to the start position. If not repair fault at positive cable either at battery or at starter. If voltage checks good. Use a remote starter and turn key to the on position and try to crank over engine with remote starter. if engine cranks over. You have a defective starter solenoid and starter must be replaced.

I have a 1996 q45 and my car won't start.it's not the battery cause all the lights come, it's just not starting.

I replace ring seal around fuel pump in tank on my 99 q45.. unplug battery for 20 min now the car turns over but want start...no voltage to fuel pump connector

2002 Q45 infiniti Cranks but won't start

I am having the same issue on my 2002 Q45, most people that have had this problem have replaced the Starter Solenoid - You dont need to replace the whole starter, unless you have alot of miles. I ordered the part and I am going to try and install it this weekend. Almost everyone with this problem said that after replacing the solenoid the problem went away. Either do it yourself or have an independent mechanic do this, the dealer wants $900 for replacing the starter parts and labor. Solenoid is about 92 bucks online OEM.

My 96 infinity Q45 is very slow starting...it acts as if the battery is low ... but it does crank

Maybe the battery going out, alternator not charging correctly. Its hard to tell on less someone is there to actually look and listen to the engine. Take the vehicle to a local autozone, have them test the battery and alternator for any probblems.

My 91 infiniti q45 ran out of gas. I put fuel in and it still won't start.

you have to turn the switch on and off, but dont crank, you will hear the fuel pump come on then go off, keep doing this for a few minutes and it should start

Alternator for 1998 infiniti q45

You simply disconnect the battery, and use sockets/wrench to remove the alternator. Make sure the battery is fully charged up before you install the new alternator.
