Why does my tail light fuse keep blowing on 1981 f150.

You either have a dead short in the system, or now need a higher amperage fuse to account for the draw of the trailer lights. If it occurs even with trailer not connected it's a dead short. Check system for any spots where bare wiring comes in contact with metal.

I have a 2002 Trailblazer and it goes dead at stop signs, etc. Also, upon idling, floods and goes dead when the a/c is turned on. Don't know if relay, map sensor or fuel pump. Sometimes the gas gauge...

drive the truck or van to advance auto parts store near you and have them check the OBD II code sensor to see if you get any codes at all. Usually your check engine light should come on by your dash but if you have a short too that this might not come on. Also usually have autozone or advance auto parts check your altinator and battery out first when you are there. I think that the wires might be shorting out things by your engine that is causing this problem.

I put a new starter and the car still does not start the radio and lights come on but then the battery goes dead in about 10 minutes everyone says its the chip in my key could this be the problem

not likely. If the battery goes dead in 10 minutes, you have a shorted cell in the battery. Take it to an aout store and have them test it free.

The battery light comes on 10 seconds after starting car, the altinator is good, so what is it?

You MUST Be ABSOLUTLY POSSITIVE that the alternator is Functioning Properlt, and Also that the BATTERY has NO DEAD CELL in it, Most Auto Parts Stored will Perform these test for free A LOAD test On Battery and An OUTPUT Tets on the Alternator. This MUST Be DONE Before Going Further into Diagnostics of your Electricial

No, this sounds like a weak battery. Check and clean if needed the battery connections. Take the car to a local parts store and ask them to check the battery.

Car goes completely dead. Drove car for a while and after a short stop at the post office tried to start the car but completely dead. After about 10 minutes car it regained electrical and started again....

does goes completely dead mean it stops running while going down the steet or maybe only when you come to a stoplight? if it runs ok and just will not start as it sounds when you return after a short period of parking it.there are several oter things unclear.when you turn the key to start it do you hear the usual sounds like the engine is turning but it just wont run=one issue.if you hear nothing at all= dead baterry, loose connection in the wiring, bad starter. it sounds like the starter is working but the engine will not run.this could be a problem with the ignition system= computersystems =crank sensor. or fuel supply problems. nothins easy anymore. sorry.

It does sound as if the battery is dead. If you are sure your battery is good, you may have a short in the starting circuit.

It doesn't have a short. Shorts blow fuses. It has high parasitic drain. On a cad it might be hard to find but not impossible. Do you own an ammeter?

Explain "jared" - if hit hard enough - check SRS system - check factory security system [related to "beeping"?] - check for shorted wire near starter - just a few suggestions.
