I have a 2006 navigator.fuel pump went so i replaced it with another new fuel pump, this time i got a code p1237.

Fix the fuel pump circuit.

Error Code P1237 takes place when the FPDM has determined a problem in the fuel pump secondary circuit. The FPDM indicates to the PCM (powertrain control module, also known as ECM or engine control module in other vehicles makes) through the FPM (fuel pump monitor) circuit to highlight the detected concern.

Boost Control Positive Deviation

This fault code can be set when the fuel tank is empty or the specified fuel is not used. ( supermarket fuels etc have been known to cause this.. )

It can also be attributed to a turbo fault - if the fault is no turbo boost.

"Fuel Pump Secondary Circuit". Doublecheck all the connections to the new fuel pump.

I would start by making sure the harness was not pinched during the install of the tank. I believe the FPMD is under the rear right seat or on that side, in the trunk.

Hi hope I can help.
P1237 : fuel pump secondary circuit FD driver module.
What you need to do is check the voltage at the fuel pump.
Hook your meter to the fuel pump and have a helper turn on the key.
You should see voltage for 2 seconds , you can also hear the pump buzz when it turns on.
If you don't hear the pump turn on, but you have 12v at the pump your fuel pump has failed
If you don't get nether pump or voltage . then check your fuel pump relay.
