Light bulb problem ... you The "brighter" light is actually burning the turn signal filament not the tail light filament.

How to replace brake light bulb audi a4 1.8t 2002

Start by opening the trunk lid. On the sides of the trunk, just beside where the trunk lid sits when closed there is a circle cap on either side. Remove the cap it is the same material as the trunk side trim (fuzzy carpet) then there will be a screw set into the hole that you just uncovered. You can use either a philips screw driver or an 8mm socket and remove the screw/bolt. you may need to reach in with a set of needle nose pliers to remove the screw after it is loosened all the way. Once the screw is removed grab the tail lamp assembly from the inside and twist the tail lamp out of the holding pins located on the side edge of the tail lamp. The whole light will come off of the body in your hands. Once the tail lamp assembly is out there is an access panel on the back side where all the bulbs are installed. Depress the two holding tabs on the sides and carefully remove the bulb holder. Then replace any blown bulbs and reinstall.

open the trunk and take the carpet panel off that is right behind tail lights. it is held on with plastic like wing nuts and you will have access to the screws that hold them on. you have to do it all from inside trunk.

How do I take out the tail light of 2005 A6? I need to replace the break bulb.

Look inside the trunk on the side where the relative light cluster is that you require. There will be a cover there. Remove that and the light cluster will be accessible to replace the bulb. If the light cluster does not come away with the cover, carefully lift the plastic tab holding the cluster in place - they get brittle and can break very easily. Check the operation of the lights before replacing the cover.

Can i jump start an audi a6 2005

On the 2005 Audi A6 3.2 (6 cylinder) the battery is stored in the right rear trunk, under the trunk floor lid. Note: To jump start the car, you simply raise the engine hood, and look in the upper left corner of the engine compartment, just slightly below the plastic cover. There you will see connections that lead to the battery and are specifically designed for jumping (or charging) the battery. You will need to lift up gently on a reddish brown cover which is protecting the positive terminal. The negative terminal (black) is not covered.
Under no circumstances should you attempt to jump the battery directly. The battery could explode and you could get sulfuric acid on your face and in your eyes, which would be bad. Very bad.

2005 audi A6 intermittent tail light failure

I can't solve this problem, but have had the entire left tail light unit on a 2005 A6 replaced under warranty 5 times in 3 years. Once it was out of warranty, the dealer kept replacing bulbs and charging me $30 each, but it never solved the problem, even for a day (clearly looking to duck their lifetime guarantee on work they did).
