  • Anonymous Mar 18, 2010

thanks for that. but I need to make sure that I am talking the right thing, my car problem is all the control bottons for heating/cooling,windscreen blow, not work at all. they work sometime before, ones works, all works. but now completely dead. some people told me it is the control unit need to change. and I found that some one can fix it, so I need take it out to send for fix.

is it white colored small plastic box with " TPW 38600-SV2-J100" on?

    cheers,

    Luke

I don't think removing the dashboard will help much. All the 1995 Accords I've worked on the ECM is under the right front carpet. Take a look and see if your is the same.

Disconnect negative battery terminal. Remove right door sill molding. Pull carpet back to access ECM. Remove ECM cover screws. Unplug ECM connectors. Remove mounting screws. Remove ECM.

    Hi again,

Sorry about not dropping by earlier, let me check and see what I can find out. If things were on and then off and then nothing you probably have a broken vacuum line to the unit from the engine. I will check on it when I get a chance at work and let you know.

How to take out a car stereo honda accord 1995.

You will first want to remove the dash surround around the head unit. There should be clips on the side that will allow for the unit to slide out. If not try removing any pieces of pastic near the head unit to locate tabs that will allow for removal. You will need to unplug it as soon as the unit is out.

Can't find the ECU location

Different make and model of cars have different location for it ECU however i most case the ECU is located in the passenger area or engine bay. If it is in the passenger area, most likely it is behind the radio in the center console or behind the glove box.

Hello lwoodzee,

The ECM is under the carpet on the passengers side of the car. See image below and directions for removal.

Oil dashboard is on

It all depends, it could be low on oil, you could have low oil pressure, or, depending on your vehicle, the quality of oil you use could be conflicting with the saftey light because of high oil pressure from too low of a viscosity. Hope that helps

Replacement a speed sensor for a honda accord 1995 Problems

Is this a wheel speed sensor for an ABS system? or a Vehicle Speed Sensor? I will assume it is a VSS for right now
the VSS is located on the transmission, you will need to remove the intake to see it more clearly but here is a picture that shows the unit and its components http://econtent.autozone.com:24991/znetrgs/repair_guide_content/en_us/images/0900c152/80/05/f9/9e/small/0900c1528005f99e.jpg
