What does the warning light (!) and a jagged underline mean?

Tire Inflation Pressure Monitor Systems (TPMS) are being used on more and more new vehicles. Low tires are potentially dangerous, especially if a vehicle is heavily loaded and traveling at highway speeds during hot weather. A low tire under these conditions is a blowout waiting to happen. The inflation pressure of the tires should be checked regularly, but many motorist do not check their tires. That is why Tire Pressure Monitor Systems are coming into use.

Tires are designed to operate within a certain pressure range. The recommended inflation pressure can usually be found in the vehicle owner's manual and on a decal that may be located in the glove box or door jam. The recommended inflation pressure is designed to give the best combination of ride comfort, load carrying capacity and rolling resistance.

Car rides too low causing trunk to hit as i go over bumps

You installed smaller tires or you need to replace the struts and/or shocks. If it is smaller tires, change them to bigger tires. Usually inside the door on the side panels near the door hinge there are stickers that suggest the tire size proper for your car.

2000 seville sls trunk tire well full of water

These cars (Sevilles) have a problem with water in the trunk. It comes from clogged sunroof drains. There are 4 of them. One in each I-Pillar and one on each side that travel back toward the trunk. They can get clogged, and my mechanic tells me that this car has had issues with this.

Service ride control on my 93 seville

the tire control system is the electronic control system that monitors the tire pressure and condition for you. The first thing that I would look at would be the tires and see how they look and verify that they have proper pressure.

It would not cost so much but let's hope the engine is not knock yet.

Get an expert to handle checking and fixing for you. Your gaskets must be changed too.

Good luck.

Rough and noisy ride with 16 inch Nokian Wr tires on 04 focus

Almost any 60 series 15" tire will ride better than a 60 series 16" or lower. Rule of thumb: as the sidewall gets lower the ride gets worse, but handling is better. Living room couch or NASCAR....you decide

What does Service Ride Control mean?

on mine, there is a ride control switch in the passenger side, just turn it back on and should work. in some models they are else where, sometimes they are disabled when you change a tire and what not, the other is that the shocks are over due. hope this helps.
