1998 Nissan Sentra 1.6 liter.Y oil blowin out of oil fill cap?

I forgot to replace the oil cap after adding oil. Drove 120 miles and all oil blew out through the missing cap. Is the oil supposed to blow out with the cap removed or do I have something causing this?

My Nissan Sentra is leaking motor oil. It comes out of the valves gasket. What should I do? Is it costly?. Guarantee is expired. sixmorans

Hi, You had fill too much oil on your sentra. Nissan Sentra use, less oil compare to other brands car with same CC . Never fill the oil that reach max mark of oil dip stick. Please replace your valve cover gasket ( my sentra has P/N: 13270-4m700, your sentra may has different P/N). You can do it yourself. It is only need about 20 minutes to complete.

Regards, vote please, Jay

yOUR pcv valve is no good. It allows crankcase pressure to build up and oil will come out of your antennae if you drove it hard enough. Replace the pcv valve.

89 Nissan Sentra making a trrrrrr noise

sounds like a case of closing the horse after the barn ran away...Pretty good chance that you have lost an engine bearing (yes, that means it's new engine time)
To avoid this in the future regard your oil light as a "you just blew your engine" light. Check your oil at least every two weeks, and this will never happen again (not for lack of oil anyway!!!)

2005 nissan murano "s" surges and bucks when accelerating.

You need to have your engine flushed and cleaned out. One or more of your spark plugs aint firing. You need to replace them all to include the wires as well. If you dont get your engine flushed, you could blow your engine up.
