I have an 01 Jeep Grand Cherokee. When you turn on the air conditioning air does not blow out any of the vents except a small amount of air (cold) will blow out the defroster vents by the windshield. If you turn the dial to reposition the vents weather it be the floor vents or the dash vents air still will not came out any vent. You can hear the blower blowing but it just will not come out the vents. When I say air will not come out any vent I literally mean no air, not hot or cold, nothing at all. Its as if the vents aren't open or are blocked.

Behind the center counsel between the floor and the heater housing is a part that is called the blend door actuator. these usually go bad and have to be replaced.

Air conditioning only blows out from drivers side of my 2005 jeep Cherokee

apparently it is dual climate control. most common failure is the blend door actuator motor has gone bad on the passenger side. however it could be the door in the HVAC box has broken or the control head is bad.

Jeep AC blows cold air at defrost and feet but not through vents

There is a flap that directs the air. the flap is controlled by a vacuum actuator. This is located inside the venting. The actuator is connected to little vacuum hoses that attach to the temperature control switch. Either the flap is stuck, or the actuator has gone bad.

2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo ac not cooling

My 1999 limited does this. When i bought it off the guy he said that its because of some flap down by the passengers left foot. In mine the passenger air barely even blows because of this.

1999 Jeep Cherokee sport/air vents do not blow out cold or hot while it is on

this sounds like the recirculation door in the heater box is broken and this is a difficult and can be an expensive repair as the dash has to be removed for access. a quick check for this is if you release the glove box and let it hang you will see the heater box if you reach up to the left top you will feel a grid and the recirc flap is housed there you can operate the blower and hot and cold and see if flap moves
