Re: i have a 2004 trailblazer key stuck wont start
Check the fuse box. There should be something that tells what amp fuse #22 is. You may have a spare fuse in the box. Worse case scenario, pull a fuse of the same power from something that you don't need and use it til you get the key out. If the fuse keeps giving problems that indicates you need to get something checked out. DO NOT put in a larger amp fuse to get by. Fuses are there for a reason. It is not worth burning a Trailblazer up because of a $3.00 fuse.

no not the same circuit check window fuse as well as drivers side switch this circuit also has a relay check for power going into as well as out of the drivers (left ) side duel switch this control powers the rt side switch also
i have 06 trailblazer chev all discribed is same here what idid ,behind drivers seat under pull seat are fuses 2 near door silver fuses I pulled them out and put back and windows and door worked only for it will happen again I will replace them and find out if it is the trouble u could try same if it helps
the drivers door switch is most likely bad, they get used the most and wear out first, the connector on the back of switch may have come loose and not making good electrical contact, remove switch and check connector and if still not working need new switch, the windows are all on same circuit and either all work or none work so not fuse. extremely rare is a short in wired but not likely.
If the other side is working, then it will not be a fuse problem. more then likely it is a grounding problem or there is a short in the wire. Take a test light and check and see if you are getting a hot wire to the brake light. If it is hot then it is a grounding problem. Make sure that the bulb is in the right way and look for any corrosion where the bulb goes and clean it out.
SInce you have window has not been used in 5 years, I would suspect that it is either stuck where the glass contacts the rubber around the glass, or, the door window motor is simply seized from lack of use. Take a butter knife and run it around under the window rubber, put the knife between the glass & the rubber, as if to "unstick" the glass from the rubber. If this does not work, pull off the door trim panel and TAP on the window motor with a small hammer whilst operating the switch to lower the window. One of these suggestions will cure your problem. Quite common with people who do not use their back windows.
