How do I change the battery on Pontiac G6 keyless remote
The keyless remote splits in half then just remove the battery and replace, i have an 07 and thats what i had to do

first you will need to remove the cover usingaflat tip screwdriver
look for a slot on theback of the fob or it may even have a slot inthe middle of the back for it simply pry up on the slot or it may unscrew or pop off
and it will come off
once your battery cover removed. Before you tear the battery
that gave you weeks of frustration right out of the thing, take a look
at how it's in there so you can put the new battery in correctly. Most
remotes have a + sign on the side that gets the + side of the battery
facing up, but you'd be mad if yours was the remote that decided not to
provide that info.:

must take FOBs to dealer for programming.... there is no other way and it's cheap (you can take any number of FOBs and it's still a flat rate (~$40)
