Crank sensor. Its on the passenger side on the top of tranny. Will have either 1 or 2 10mm bolts holding it on. And a plug. My 94 had the same problem. It would run fine then you shut it off and all it woild do is crank. Wait like an hour and it will start back up. New crank sensor and it was fine
The ac compressor does put an additional load on the engine. Any minor problem with performance can be amplified with the ac on. I would check fuel pressure and look at the idle air control valve. Also check the computer for trouble codes. Both 6 and 8 cyl engines use a cap rotor and wires arrangement, so it wouldn't hurt to make sure those components as well as the spark plugs are in good working order. The bucking on the road and stalling at stops could be two different issues.
If you can hear the pump running inside the tank right after it stalls and you turn the key to the run position, I'd be looking at the crank position sensor. If that fails, fuel will reach the fuel rail but the injectors won't fire. Also check cam sensor, pump relay and ASD relay in power distribution center.
have you checked air in tires? let me go over some things to check for you.it could be a bad ball joint on either the passenger or drivers side front.could also be a bad universal joint in the driveline shaft. have you had it off road lately and hit something in roadway?it may just need alignment.to check ball joints you'll need to jack front of car up, make sure to use jack stands to insure safety. with it up in air check for in and play in each wheel, physically push top and bottom of each wheel in and out. if there is play in tires, most likely a bad ball joint.or to check driveline u joint, recommend you leave it to a pro.it entails you crawling under the car while on jack stands w/car in park and emegeacy brakes on. shake drive line up and down, if there is any play in it. the u joints bad. ther are 2 1 infront and 1 in back next to rearend. hope this helps and thank you for visiting fix ya
pumping the gas pedal does nothing but open a butterfly to give air to the engine, possible that the pump you got is bad or the fuel pressure regulator is bad , its part of the assembly
check the wires to the fuel pump if they have rubbed against something and the insulation wore through hitting bumps or rain could cause it to short and kick the relay and resets again and will start
