How do I find the fuse on an impala 2002 for the.outside temperature and compass

There are two fuses one in the right I/P junction block an one in the left I/P junction block ! The right is marked DK / RKE 10amp fuse. The left is marked A/C / CRUSE 10amp fuse ! I don't think these are the problem ! These fuses supply power to the microprocessor in the driver information center . According to my service information the microprocessor supply's power to the ambient air temperature sensor an to the compass.
This mode displays an 8 point compass heading on the left hand side of the DIC. The compass will display the current vehicle direction relative to one of 8 compass headings using N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, and NW for the readout. The ambient temperature displays on the right hand side of the DIC. If the ambient temperature is below 3?°C (37?°F), the temperature reading will toggle between displaying the outside temperature and the word ICE for two minutes. If the temperature is less than minus 40?°F for more than 2 seconds, OC will display. If the temperature is above 140?°F for more than 2 seconds, SC will be displayed. If OC or SC is displayed DTC's will be set. For compass calibration and compass magnetic variation adjustment refer to Electronic Compass Calibration .

How to set the clock on a 2000 BMW 325i

Hi, on your signal stalk (left side), see the "BC" button?

Push this BC button repeatedly, and you will notice the display inside your dash go from:

Time-Temperature-MPG-Range-Ave speed-(and back to)Time.

Notice there're also 2 buttons (stalks) sticking out from your dash.

ONLY while the display is showing the TIME (not anything else), TURN and HOLD the right button inside the dash. You will find that the time will adjust on both your dash and your radio display. It will move faster as you keep holding on.

You may also switch from 24hr format to AM/PM format by pushing the right button instead of turning it.

The interior rear view mirror has temperature and compass displays, but only work for a short time at start- up.I have tried unplugging the harness on the back of the mirror and cleaning contacts. It`s...

Temperature Display
The inside rearview mirror supplies a 5 volt signal circuit and low reference circuit to the ambient air temperature sensor. The inside rearview mirror monitors and records the voltage on the signal circuit of the ambient air temperature sensor. The inside rearview mirror uses this recorded voltage to display the temperature on the temperature display portion of the compass/temperature display. The temperature display will show "ICE" when the ignition is first turned on and the current temperature is 3°C (37°F) or below. The display will toggle between "ICE" and the actual outside temperature for approximately 4 minutes.
The mirror will display "OC" if the mirror senses a temperature of less than -40°C (-40°F).
the mirror will display a "SC" if the mirror senses a temperature of greater than 112°C (143°F).

Replace the inside rearview mirror with compass. Refer to Inside Rearview Mirror Replacement .

I have a Passat TDI 140 SE saloon '06 plate, the MPG readout on the dash is playing up, it's showing random numbers constantly anywhere between 30 MPG to 170 MPG ( I wish haha) then seem's to reset (3...

The info that is gatthered on your display is taken from the engine ecu which is calculating average mpg, average distance, how many miles left in your tank etc. The only faulty part is your dash insert (speedo clocks). As you probably gather all the info is gathered electronically, from your throttle movement to the altitude of the vehicle which along with many other statistics is calculating your mpg, it wont be your ecu or would experience more seroius problems, so I am betting on your dash clocks, but get it diagnosed before spending money, hope this helps.

Main computer display panel Audio estate A6 5 years old

There is a button on the bottom of your windshield wiper control arm. Push it once to turn on or off the computer display. Hold it to clear the current information. At the end of the arm is a "up/down" button for changing which info you would like to see (miles to empty, current mpg, etc.)
